Users must download and install the application before they can operate the application offline. This requires a connection.
Some of the installation related issues you need to resolve are:
o How will users know they can run the application offline?
o How will you publish the application on a website? Users could, for example, install the application on mobile devices identified by an icon on a navigation screen or a shortcut on a desktop device.
o How will application updates be delivered?
o How do you manage a situation where you cannot install your desired database on the mobile device?
Application documentation must be on the device, not a link to a website which requires an active connection.
