By default, most types of fields in the Repository are visualized as entry fields. Date or DateTime fields have a default date prompt visualization. When a field is added to a component's user interface, it is given its default visualization.

Most fields have one visualization, but it is possible to have several visualizations, used in different contexts. One visualization has the property DefaultVisual = True.
Use the Toolbar on the Visualization tab to add additional visualizations for a field. The options available will depend on the field type.
